Intro!

Hey Whatablogers! We’re back!(Did you really think we forgot you again?) I ran out of ideas after writing my last article, but then an idea hit me,(lightbulb!) Why don’t I celebrate our achievements, and get people to give us money, so we can use it for whatever we want! Just kidding! Well… kind of.

Doodad Winner!

Not for the fearless

My sister, Pearl, entered a competition in art class with a student. Together they filmed a video, which talked about their art piece, a Roseate Spoonbill, in their description it says,

” We sculpted the body with paper mache’. Then cut red ribbons and white plastic containers into feather shapes, and painted some of them pink. We also added fake feathers. We used a green container to cut the leaves and used green ribbons for the base.”

Well, what did we learn?

If I do say so myself, THEIR PIECE IS MARVELOUS! The contest is finished, so now I call you to spam our comments with congrates, and give us money! (what is with the money comments?)! If you want to check out the site it’s right down below!

2023 DOODAD COMPETITION

A Little Bit From Pearl

I asked Pearl some questions about her art project this is how the conversation went.

Question 1. “How did you feel when you won second place for the doodad?” I inquired. ”

“I was very excited.I knew I had a chance, but I wasn’t really thinking about the prize. I just tried my hardest to try to get people to vote for my project.” Pearl laughed

Question 2. ” How did you feel when you were one of the two student chosen by your art teacher to work together on the project?”
“I was surprised, I knew our project had potential.( Her team had made it before then was chosen by her art teacher out of everyone in her art class). ” Pearl said.

Question 3. “Do feel like a celebrity now?” I joked “No.” Pearl answered resolutely. ” I guess our interview is coming to a rap, anything you would like to share about your project? I heard you were getting noticed on the school morning show.*”

” Ya, that’s pretty exciting, that they’re celebrating student achievements, and I get to be one of those students.”

A funny conclusion(maybe it’s not very funny) : “Well I had a good time conducting this interview, Pearl, although, it takes a lot of energy to type this all up.” “I had a good time too, though I didn’t do as much typing.”
