Hi Whatabloggers! Christmas is just around the corner and to get into the holiday spirt here are some tips and presents we put under the tree , just for you! ^^

This Christmas we’ve all got something truly special to celebrate. If you’ve just started figuring out what you should do this year here’s 2 suggestions you should incorporate into your Christmas!
Traditional Food
As a foodie myself I know how important food is to the atmosphere of Christmas. Foods for Christmas differ from family to family , however I will run over a few foods traditionally thought of a Christmas foods.
- Christmas cookies: My family especially loves to make cookies, as well gingerbread houses. You can buy kits to make the cookies or gingerbread and get creative. A creative environment gets people talking, and food is something most people can enjoy. The crunch and snap of a good Christmas cookie brings nostalgia to a warm lit Christmas. Not only are these sweet to the taste but to the heart.

- Mashed potatoes: Regularly found in a Christmas meal the creamy texture and homey goodness brings the best out of a Christmas dinner.

Baked ham: It is a staple to Christmas meals. Glazing it brings out the best in this dish. It’s truly splendid and goes with a lot of the other Christmas dishes

Ribs: The aroma of this kind of meat makes my mouth water, it is carefully crafted with barbecue sauce on top , ready to go for Christmas delights! My family occasionally deluges in this saucy meat even after Christmas. It’s just that good!

Those are just a few of foods the on display at the Christmas dinner table. I find that a lot of dishes served at Thanksgiving are also sold at Christmas. Try some of them out, they’ll be worth your while.
Outside activities
Christmas is the time to celebrate, one of the next best ways to do that other than food is going out! One option is Bush Gardens Christmas Town!

Skating
Another way to spend the holidays is ice skating! During Christmas and my birthday, I went I skating, and I loved it, I can’t wait to do it again! It was cold and I had a bit of trouble adjusting to the ice, but once I got the hang of it I slid around the ice rink gleefully. It depends which skating rink your going to on how cold it will be, but in general , take a pair of warm mitts and a comfy sweater. Here are some tips for skating
- While skating stretch your hands outward in front of you to practice your balance. Try not to lean forward or backward when starting off, looking ahead can help.
- To build up speed, lift one skate up. Use the other foot to glide. Then, repeat the motion vice versa.
- To stop, slide you skate on the ice diagonally, pay attention to your balance!
- When falling put your hands on your knees, it is good to practice this technique.
These are four simple steps to get started, but I also suggest watching video and other tutorials on ice skating! Another resource to get started on skating is https://www.wikihow.com/Ice-Skate.
Ice skating , Bush Gardens, and preparing memorable foods are amazing things you can do to spend your Christmas! I hope you have a very merry time celebrating with your family and friends!
