POKÈMON? POKE-WHAT!

To understand what Pokémon are you have to first understand what the name means when translated. Pokémon translates to “Pocket Monsters”. Pokémon is a Japanese media franchise. It has games, series and films. All based on one concept, mythical beast or monsters called Pokèmon. Pokémon roam the Pokémon world. In the Pokémon world, Pokémon trainers can catch Pokèmon using Poké balls! There are many types, special abilities, there a plethora of them to catch.
Here’s a list of the basic things you need to know about Pokémon!
POKÈMON KEY TERMS
Pokèmon trainer A Pokémon trainer is someone who trains Pokémon. That could be a character on a Pokémon TV series or episode. It could also be you! If you use a Pokémon game, app, cards, etc you are a trainer!

POKÈ BALL A pokéball is an item that is used by Pokémon trainers to catch Pokémon! There are many different types. Pokéballs don’t always catch Pokémon if the catch rate (Probability of catching the Pokemon) isn’t high enough. So that’s why there are different types of balls to allow for a higher catch rate. For example a net ball is catches catch bug pokemon with a higher catch rate. A ultra ball is used to catch common pokemon and has a high catch rate. A pokéball can also be used to influence the Pokémon you catch. One example is a friend ball, it makes the Pokémon you catch friendly towards you. There are many different Pokémon out in the world for you to discover! New Pokémon are always being made, so there are more than enough to add to your card collection, watch on TV, or even read about!
That’s all for key terms you’ll want to know. These will be important in the rest of the article. Next is the types of Pokémon, types helps determine what type of move a Pokémon will have and how effective the move is on another Pokémon.

Pokemon Hatching
Pokémon hatching is filled with calculations, research, and careful complexity . However you don’t need to be an expert or research about the EXACT way you should hatch the Pokemon to get the EXACT Pokemon you want. I’ll give a basic run down of what you need to know, and the rest will be in a link to another website. Hatching is breeding two compatible Pokèmon to get an egg( By the way to get eggs you have to leave them at the Pokémon nursery/daycare) …that hatches into a Pokémon the same as its parents, but inherits some abilities from it, or, it could be a baby Pokémon. A baby Pokèmon is one that does not look like its parents. Instead it is the baby form of the parents. I’ll put picture below for a better view of this process! :)
