
Hey Whatabloggers! As a person who jumps, squeals, and laughs while reading a GREAT book, I know the struggle of trying to find that one book that entrances and excites! (Getting fancy with words already. Am I?). I also know the pain of a book gone bad. (I’ve made many songs about this dilemma) .So I’ve come up with a quick list of books that I found exciting as well clean. ARE YOU READY TO WELCOME THESE BOOKS TO THE STAGE?! What ARE you WAITING for!?(The books are in no particular order)
#1. Moving Target
Age:8-12

By: Christina Diaz Gonzalez (When searching the book up list the author or you could get different books!)
This one is a must! I enjoyed how it was page turning and fantasy as well as giving tidbits of information about geography. The second series Return Fire is also a great one! With the stubbornness of the characters and the struggle between the better good and power this story shows the city of Rome with a whole new perspective
#2. Rosie Frost

Age:10 and up
Uncover a story rich with history, friendship, and adventure! Rosie Frost alone , and finding it hard to fit in, struggles . With secrets yet to be revealed and a threat to the Island she resides on, this story is one that will have you shivering for more!
#3. Esperanza Rising

Age: 9-12
A classic! Don’t be persuaded to avoid this, you’re missing out! A true story of immigration and perseverance. In a run-up of tragic events Esperanza ,once rich ,is forced to go to a foreign land ,poor. This story covers the ups and downs. Showing how Esperanza deals with her new environment.
#4. Half Apon a time

Age: 8-12
Coming from classic fairytales with a twist is Half Apon a time. With vibrant characters and cliffhangers, it keeps you on your toes.From Red riding hood to Snow White and unbelievable plots , you’ll be shocked by what transpires and how the characters react to the situation around them
#5. My life as a book

Age:8-12
Don’t be fooled by the stick drawings on the cover inside it’s got a lot to unpack! With the main character Derek being sent to the dreaded Learning Camp for his summer . It seems his summer is going to be a drag… until something happens….From the hardships of school to laugh out louds it’s a golden mine!
#6. The Revenge of Magic
Age:8-12

This book will draw you in from the cover, then suddenly you’ll be in shock when you finished the whole series.
#7. Pride and Prejudice

Age:7-10
A classic, it might be filled with complex vocabulary but it has a twisting plot and cliffhangers! Don’t judge by the old language or the first few pages! If you keep going it gets better! With deep written characters and presumptions leading to dead ends , this story is a true classic by Jane Austen.
#8. Diary of a 8-bit warrior

Age:8-11
For fans of Minecraft and carefully plotted stories you’ll be jumping up and down! The hard-ships of Runt are just getting started. From going to school to learn how to be a warrior and making enemies it’s not just a story based in the Minecraft world . It’s a legendary story of its own.
#9. 11 birthdays

Age:9-11
Full of surprises and secrets , you’ll surely enjoy this book by Wendy Mass! When friendships break and birthdays start repeating , things get interesting! With the drama of turning eleven to the tension of hurt friendships and renewing them ,it turns into a book that one won’t forget quickly.
#10. Chasing Vermeer

Age:9-11
With a plethora of mysteries and seeming outlandish events coming together to form a full picture Chasing Vermeer will have you chasing after the other books in the series.
Now all that’s left is to squee about all these amazing books.
