What’s it like to be in middle school? Welcome to my world!

Instructions: To read this follow the color coded path you choose. For example if you chose a choice that says “Choice 1”, and has the color red, you continue on the next choice that says “Choice 1(continued)”, and is red. If you’ve red through your choice and it say “the end!” your story has ended, but if there are words pointing you to another choice you continue on!

Prelude

A normal day walking through the silent hallway the only thing you hear is the soft breathing of your mouth and suddenly. BAM,BOOM,POW! Hit from all directions by noisy students, and stuck to your spot in the middle of the hallway.A teacher yells at you ” Don’t stop the line, scoot to the side , and keep moving!” As you shuffle back into the line, bumped and squished, looking down at the next period you have to go , and the bell is going to ring any second now as you’re stuck in the slow traffic around you……..

It was a beautiful day ,you woke up at 5:30 to get ready for school. Once you’d put on your uniform you immediately went out of your bedroom, walked straight , then took a left your work space that was perfect for any project you needed to accomplish. You had a lesson on different career paths you could take, on a program called Everfi . The approximate time to finish it was 2.5 hours, but it took the whole week between some time at home, and about an hour at school. After you finally finished Everfi you rejoiced! You hurried downstairs to make some cereal. Suddenly you see that the time is 7:10, that means it’s time to go to school!

Choice 1: Continue eating breakfast at a normal pace

Choice 2: You go to play games

Choice 3: Eat breakfast quick and run for the car

Choice one (continued) : You stay at home eating and forget you have to go to school You finally remember and it’s 7:30 way past the time you’re supposed to leave. Your caught up in traffic and make it to school late. A late slip is given to you and you run to class. BRING! you miss your first class! You see what the teachers teaching on the board and groan. You don’t know any of this! Your teacher calls on you and you stall -1 point. How could have this day went wrong? The end! If you don’t like the ending you got pick a different choice and start again.

Choice 2 (continued): You are caught playing games and are late, the front office hands you a late slip your face turns red as you walk into class and find out you missed 3 classes. You got -3 points off. You knew your parents weren’t going to be happy and promised yourself that this would never happen again. The end, go back to the beginning and pick a different choice if you don’t like the ending you got.

Choice 3 (continued): You make it to school on time and put your fists in the air when you get to your class on time … now your teacher is telling the class to take notes. You get out your iPad and take notes on the lesson .The days going fine and it’s almost time to go, you take a paper test and hand it in. Suddenly the bell rings, its time to of go into your next class! Your friends are still hanging out, you don’t want to miss the funny video they’re laughing over. What do you do?

Choice 1: Run to class and push people out of your way while trying to text your friends to ask them what the funny video was about

Choice 2: Stay and watch the video with your friends when did fun hurt anybody?

Choice 3: Walk SLOWLY to the next class and get hammered by the traffic of the halls

Choice 1: (continued) When you push past another person they suddenly push you hard.. you trip and fall your phone clattering to the ground a teacher suddenly looks above you and swipes your phone from you. You gasp and watch as your the teacher takes it away and walk somewhere else, powerless you run to your next class and make it on time, but feel the empty spot where your phone was . The rest of the day goes by in a swirl you go to the front office for your phone but it turns out that you can’t pick you until the next day. You cover your hands on your head this was not how the day should go!(The end! If you don’t like this ending go back and redo your choice)

Choice2: (continued) Your friends and yourself laugh and giggle the teacher sees you and moves you to your own respective classes you sigh and say goodbye to your friends walking through the halls you get to your next class on time. As you check on your school account you see one negative point on your account you groan whyyyyy! What do you do?(continued in the green text)

Choice 3: (continued) You get hammered in the halls and trip. “OUCH’ it hurts! You make it on time to your next class. Turns out the teacher saw you trip and sent you to the nurse. She handed you an ice pack and gave you a lollipop for being good. It was delicious! “Lucky! one of the students said when you made it back to class, you smiled and thought this is a good day. Suddenly some student are whispering behind you and seem to be pointing at you . What do you do?(continued in the brown text)

Choice 1: Don’t do your bellwork for your class and sulk

Choice 2: Finish your bellwork and then play videos on your iPad

Choice 3: do your bellwork then whisper to your friends.

Choice 1: Go up to them and ask them what their laughing about

Choice 2: Tell the teacher

Choice 3: Ignore them

Choice 1: (continued) Your teacher notices what your doing and yells at you on top of that she decreased your grade and piled your homework. When you get home you lay flat in your bed wishing you made better choices.(The end if you don’t like this ending redo your choice)

Choice 2: (continued)Your caught and Oh nooo! your in big trouble … yelled at in front of the whole class and given a punishment you sink into your chair, knowing that when you got home you would have to explain what happened.(If you want a different ending pick another choice)

Choice 3: (continued) Luckily you’re permitted to talk in class you chat on and on ….. cruising through your classes, when you’re picked up you are taken to get ice cream…!!!! BEST DAY EVER!(If you want a different ending pick another choice)

Choice 1: (continued) They smile and say ” What do you need we weren’t even talking to you” . Your face burns just a bit and you laugh it off as you walk to your next class. The next class was filled with pop quizzes, and what came next wasn’t fun either. The same girls you saw were whispering and pointing at you AGAIN. One said loudly “Why are you staring at us?” You ejaculate and say ” Why are you pointing at me?” The hours tick by and when you leave that class you are great full that you got done with it. (If you want a different ending pick another choice)

Choice 2: (continued)You walk up to the teacher and tell her she brings the girls to you and says to talk to them about it they said they didn’t mean it and even give you a bracelet for compensation . “Wow thanks!”. You say the rest of school is a breeze and after you go home you find out you’re going to a theme park! Awesome!(If you want a different ending pick another choice)

Choice 3: (continued)Suddenly one of the girls come up to talk to you “Happy Birthday” she says you smile and she hands you a present. Someone at school actually remembered! You thank her and hold the present close to you. When you get home you unwrap it and it has food, books, games and more in it. Who can ask for more from a school gift you thought.(If you want a different ending pick another choice)
