Tycoon Lagoon

The sun rose, a new day was in the making, and my family rose out of bed. Trying to shake the tiredness from their eyes. We hurriedly got ready, it was time, to go to Tycoon Lagoon of course! In the car we squished together, with our shirts on over our bathing suits .We were excited as the car pulled into the parking lot, and we walked toward Tycoon Lagoon. We looked at the familiar sights of the park as we walked though the check in, and rounded the bend into the real attraction, the water park. My family chose a spot by a tree so we could be sheltered from the sun. We put down our bags and we were ready to have some fun! First we walked to a ride called Misadventure Falls, it was so good that we went two times! Misadventure falls is a raft ride that takes you on a water slide, you get splashed all over with water while riding the tunnel. Some parts your raft shifts sided to side. Other times you can feels bump-like waves. It was amazing! But one thing that frightened me is when I didn’t my mom, we were going to try Misadventure Falls for the last time. Suddenly our mom was with us one second, to enter the ride, then gone! We still went on Misadventure Falls, but once we were done I was really worried about her. I searched franticly around with my siblings and dad, but we didn’t see her. Then my dad pulled out his phone and said my mom had sent a text message that she was at Lazy River! Oh Mommy! Lazy river is a lake where you can take floats that are circular or “U” shaped and ride them down the river, or you can simply swim without them. The best part is the waterfall, it is strong and overpowering, it will knock you down. I kept going back to the Waterfall it’s so exhilarating! Myself and others had to be remined by the lifeguard to keep moving! Also, when in the lazy river don’t do rough play(although I always do), and don’t stack the floats on top of each other, and don’t go under the ones that don’t have a clear way to the surface (although I almost always do)! We played in the lazy river for a long while probably more than a hour. It took even longer to get out of the lazy river because we lost an item luckily we found it. After that we navigated our way back to our set up place and got food. The food I ordered was a hamburger and fries.

It was delicious! The last few hours we spent at Tycoon Lagoon was eventful, we went to the wave pool to have fun! Someone got hurt and the life guard dived in from her high podium a helped him, I hoped he would be okay. Besides that horrific event we had a nice time there. We rushed to more water rides and tried them many times, there wasn’t much of a wait line! After that it was the time to head home. It was really fun and we had a great time. I hope we go there again soon!
