First get a jumbo paper clip like this one in the the picture below.Even though it is not exactly a jumbo paper clip it helps you visualize what it is supposed to look like.

Then get a battery, make sure it’s safe to use!

Finally get a mini light bulb. It looks like this. I suggest to use a 3.8 volt lightbulb.

Then try to find out a way to light the bulb!Have fun!

Solar Ovens Saving The world!

Have you ever wanted an oven that could heat up food and doesn’t pollute the Earth? Well you’re in luck! A solar oven is a cleaner way to make treats and goodies. It’s often used to make smores.

HOW TO MAKE A SOLAR OVEN.

Things you will need

• shoe box
• scissors
• Film roll
• tape
• container(optional, to put objects in)

Steps to make a solar oven

First, take the shoe box and the tape. After you’ve done that, if the shoe box doesn’t have an open cover that can close, you’ll have to cut one.It should look like this.

Next cut a big rectangle into the top flap.Then get the film roll, or as I incorrectly put in the diagram, foil. ( Remember its film roll, not foil. Don’t make that mistake like me!) Then get tape, and start taping the film roll to the big rectangle gap you made in the flap. Then you’re done!(To use the container put it in the shoe box and put objects in the container that you want to melt)

Ways to use it

You can make smores by melting the chocolate with the marshmallows and gram crackers together.Thats really the main thing you can do with the solar oven, but you can also see what else melts!Like Skittles!
