All about the amazing experience we had at animal kingdom

Animal kingdom’s purpose is to teach about animals, and entertain you at the same time. On May ,24, 2023, we had the privilege of going to this amazing place. First I will talk about the animals we saw, when we went on a train ride there was a giraffe, lion, hippo, elephant, ostrich, and more! One fact about elephants is that they use their trunks to put dirt and mud on their backs, it’s used to protect their sensitive skin from the heat. As I looked out the window in the train I saw ostrich eggs, I was highly amazed. After all an ostrich lays the largest eggs! Another fact that I learned is that no giraffes spots are the same as the others! Just like human fingerprints. Off the train we saw animals too! One animal I saw was a swan, it was white all over, just like people describe it in books. The shows there were good to, my favorite was The Lion King, and A Bug’s Life. The Lion King show took parts of the song in the movie and people would sing and act to the song. They even included animatronics of different animals in the Lion King movie to make it more eventful. With the cloudy effects and enthusiastic performers it was really the whole experience! In the show A Bugs life the main character was an ant named Andy, when he talked on the screen he taught us about different bugs. The 3D glasses helped show the different bugs trying to get us and when they threw materials at us. The best parts was when effects like wind, bumps under your seat, and water squirted at us made it even more exciting. My favorite part was when we were to exit, but before we did the speaker said that the bugs were exiting first and my seat bumped up from the “bugs” under it.

Though the show and safari were good Expedition Everest, a roller coster, really pumped me up. Although the wait was long, it was worth it. First my group and I got in, I was nervous as I normally am when I am about to go on roller costers then it started. I remember going up and passing the first few stages of the ride then… AHHHH! The rollercoaster pulls back it was WILD. Then all of a sudden we stop in a dark place and there was light that showed the figure of an animal that looked like a yeti, then we were pulled back into the ride all this time I braced myself, and tried to handle the scariness of the ride. once again we were pulled into a dark room, but this time I saw the head of a kind-of realistic looking yeti, I was not ready to face it so I closed my eyes. The ride was not intense as some other rides I have ridden on but it made itself unique with its stops that were to scare me.

There was another ride based on the movies, “Avatar the way of the water” ,and “Avatar”. It was a long wait, the projected timing was close to 70 or 75 minutes. When we finally got to the simulation there was a motorcycle looking object. The instructor told us to scoot all the way to the front and put our legs as far forward as we could. When we were fully situated a pole with a flat square came up, the flat metal square press on us tightly, but it didn’t hurt. Then we were instructed to wear some glasses, and the expedition began. The glasses provided the ultimate experience. It felt like we were riding on banshees, I even feel it breathing! When ever water seemed to touch us during the simulation, we felt water droplets plant on our face. When it was done I was convinced, this is the most amazing ride ever! The wait was worth it! Although I was really hungry after…….
